Angela's Gallery

After a 20 year career in secondary arts education running an Art Department and Arts Faculty in Bristol, I now run painting and drawing classes independently and enjoy nurturing people who want to develop their creativity.

My love of nature, all creatures great and small, and the Somerset landscape provide a constant source of inspiration for my work.

My work supports my health and well-being... exploring my own process through art inspires others to do the same at the classes I run at Woolavington Village Hall.

I paint in oils and acrylics and my passion for colour has led to the development of collages using batik and photography which I then flood with light. Another medium is recycled wool blankets which I hand dye, then cut up into small pieces and create rugs and other tactile art forms.

Please browse through my gallery and I hope you enjoy it.
