It all began some five years ago, when my neighbour, the celebrated wild flower and bird painter, Wendy Hofmaier started to encourage me to join her at the art class in Woolavington.  I didn't think I had the talent for it, and for a year I did not respond, but finally when I did, I found I was enjoying myself to an extent I would not have believed possible.

We are a group of sociable amateur artists with varying artistic skills.

We have a long-suffering, charming, talented frankly gorgeous teacher, and in the years I have been attending the class I have managed to work my way up to the position of Teachers Pet.  I know I have a great deal to learn, but it is tremendous fun learning it.
