I have always enjoyed drawing and painting but it was not until I retired that I really had the time to join an art group and try to develop any ability I may have.

Being part of Angela's art group has helped me greatly, the friendly environment, talking and mixing with people who have the same interests is helpful and fun.

I have previously painted in acrylics but recently started to use oils which I am really enjoying.

Although my work is representational it intends to suggest rather than depict an accurate observation of the subject, using simple composition, minimal description and a limited colour palette in most cases.
